haha very nice. i can never get enough of grapple on my powertech. any idea what the server balance in on ur server? are u guys camped alot in ilum as republic?
No.
Sometimes Empire zergs, sometimes (less frequently) Republic zergs.
We’re more fortunate than most PVP servers, but keep in mind we chose our server intentionally hoping that the World PVP balance would be acceptable, which it definitely has been.
Nice work on the video. Will be great to have daily visits to the site. Rule #1 to keep people around give them content. You are a breath of fresh air and finally give gamers a good name. Enjoy your professionalism and watch every video. Keep up the good work. You are welcomed in the community and much needed in the industry. Please once you get famous and get the job ‘offers’ don’t ever let this format go. PvP is better because of your service. More and more are flocking to the calling.

I so live for harpoon. One of my favorite abilities in the game! It’s like duct tape–always finding new uses for it.
I love the “daily” video concept, looking forward to more! I suppose the empire on your server will learn pretty quick where that invisible line is :) You should eventually make a comprehensive video showing all the utility of the grapple skill. Between Hutball traps, Voidstar bridges, Alderan ledge pulls, peeling in general and now this on Ilum – you have quite the collection of novel concepts!

Sadly this is what SWTOR pvp has become, base camping zergs getting pulled into the turret. So exciting and so skillful.
This is a video of using smart tactics not using highly skilled play. World PvP is never fair and is never balanced(not Fox News :P). I don’t know that you find that in Rift.
We have awesome fighting in World PVP on Ajunta Pall.
Bored with SWTOR yet? We all went back to RIFT for pvp goodness.

^ How long will zealous defenders justify broken games using these same tired excuses and expected responses. Rinse repeat with every early released failed mmo. Swtor is a joke. Maybe you haven’t realized it yet in your progression, or you really want to like this game until your timecard expires.
These smart tactics, = obvious tactics. Taug didn’t come up with anything any competent player already knows in this game.
If you don’t like SWTOR PVP, you don’t like SWTOR PVP.
My guildees and I are having a blast.
As I’ve said elsewhere, the “battlegrounds” in SWTOR are better than any other game, even RIFT where they were highly innovative.
I don’t mind people posting criticism of my guides / videos, that comes with the territory.
But I would appreciate if you refrained from being a jerk to the other people who post comments here.

Cool tactic. On the topic of wanted content, not sure if it’s possible, but as a growing Vanguard tank, I’d love some advice on how to tank at certain level milestones (like 20, 30, 40). I mean, it’s great to see you pwn people with your max level character but it’s hard for a fresh level 20 to copy those results missing a few skills and a ton of purple gear (it’s hard to lock down great gear if you keep out-leveling it).
I skipped the flashpoints all the way to 50.
That said, I started tanking Hard Mode Flashpoints 3 nights ago.
So far here are the HM’s I’ve tanked:
– Directive 7
– Esseles
– False Emperor
– Kaon Under Siege
– Taral V
I will likely be streaming and/or making videos of PVE content from a tank perspective.
Even if I cover level 50 content, the principles behind tanking will be applicable to any level.
Matzz – check out Taugrim’s twitch channel. He’s got tons of content showing lvling up that you could probably use for figuring out how to pvp. In general, I don’t think you’ll get much from Taugrim from a PVE side as he’s mostly and mainly pvp.
But.. if you want to know how to PVP through the various lvls, just check out his twitch channel.

As I’ve stated in the past, my priority is getting geared up in PVP, but now that I’m 9/14 Champion I’ve started tanking Flashpoints in Hard Mode as well.

Level 42 right now, can’t wait to get to endgame PvP. Full time job kills my gaming, darn it! At least i can check your vids during breaks.
They really have impact on my gaming and helps me improve.
