This HD video is narrated PVP footage of my level 21 Cleric in the MMORPG Rift in Patch 1.2.1 in a Codex warfront. I entered the warfront queued with two guildees:
- Warzdak: 26 Healing Cleric
- Frizzlepot: 21 Pyro Mage

As I stated in the narration, I should have spent a talent point in Jolt instead of Endless Winter. While this is technically a DPS spec, I play him as a healer first and DPS second because that tends to provide the most value in warfronts.

Also, what professions would you recommend for a melee healer.
For Shaman/Justicar:
Int > Spell Crit > Wis = End
For any class or spec, it doesn’t really matter what profs you take, given that crafting items are not Bind-on-Pickup.
I personally took Mining->Armorsmithing->Runecrafting, and for Mage/Roge I replace Armorsmithing with Outfitter.
Hi Taugrim. Always loved your vids and i have a 50 Warrior based on your ideas that, like you, i am finding frustrating. Anyway, i’m rolling a cleric also and i was wondering whether you lvl your toon soley through PvP? or if you rift/quest/dungeon also? And whether you use the same spec in this case for all?
I am liking this spec for WF’s but i definitely cant see past a spec involving Soul Purge for fast lvling and soloing rifts.
Just to be clear: I didn’t roll a Cleric because I was frustrated with my Warrior.
Warrior is fun for me, but the guild I was in over on Harrow didn’t have consistently strong healing, so that made being on a Warrior (or any MDPS) rough at times. Unfortunately there is no healing spec for Warrior, so there wasn’t anything I could do to help the healing deficiency at 50.
A guildee checked out Sunrest and reported the server was much better than Harrow. After re-rolling I completely agree. Warfront chat is much more constructive and people don’t whine and complain like they do in the battlegroup Harrow is in.
I didn’t want to re-level a Warrior again, I rolled a Cleric to make sure that our PVP guild had enough active healers. It’s been fun so far – unlike my previous guild we don’t have a shortage of healing.
I level via PVP and PVE. I do PVE questing so that I can farm ore while doing it. I use the same spec, haven’t purchased a 2nd role yet. I will of course at some point.

I had a question about two abilities. I currently have Glory of the Chosen and Glacial Shield in my spammable macro. I liek have the uptime on Glacial and the reflect component makes me feel like it isnt a waste of a GCD. Glory however is a different beast. Do you have it in your macro and if so where is it placed?
Glory of the Chosen should be in your DPS and healing macros, so that it is automatically cast. You want to use it as much as possible as it is an efficient off-the-GCD heal.
Glacial Shield should not be macrod with your attack abilities IMO. You want to be able to control when you bubble, e.g. to cap a flag.

I’m french , and it’s very hard for me to understand what you said on the video, i tried to see the buffs, but your dps cycle, i cannot state on it since you’re using macros (“oh no, he pushed what key this time ?”)
It would be very nice if you post macros and buffs you use for “non-english” people :)

Love the vids, I was wondering, maybe looking into the future a little bit. I don’t have a 50 so I am kinda levelling my cleric along with you, currently 25….was wondering how does this spec standalone at 50 pvp wise if you don’t have a few buddies with ya?
Shaman/Justicar/X from what I’ve seen on my Warrior is a good spec for premades or solo queueing or 1v1s.
i see what spec you are using for level 21, where are you going to put points as u lvl more in justicar or shaman?

Yeah I’ve been curious about the macros for this class as well.
After messing around with this build, I love it a ton. Never been able to stay alive so long while delivering pretty decent damage, and healing my teammates at the same time. Awesome.
That’s exactly why I play it. It has solid healing capability and functional damage.
I still have no idea how the macro works or /how to get it to work, as it does not seem to work for me.
the @mouseoverui macro you mentioned in part one.
I tried it but when I mouseover the raid/party frames, it did nothing.
Anyone can help me along with this?
I’ve you are just hovering over someone’s frame, it won’t work. You have to hit the button you have the macro tied to as well. I have mine tied to the left mouse button on my G5 mouse so it’s easier to mouse over and click while leaving my left hand free for other actions.
