I wanted to share with y’all an exciting milestone. During my 15th session of streaming, my TwitchTV channel cracked 100k views and 1k followers:
With the NDA lift for SWTOR on November 18th, I’ve been streaming SWTOR PVP action every day with live commentary.
Much of the traffic is due to my having access to General Testing, which is a limited pool of people compared to the Weekend Tests – i.e. there are a limited number of people who can even stream at this time.
That being said, viewers have been providing very positive feedback for my stream, and this has been a huge encouragement to me :)
Being a resource to the gaming community has been my passion for 6 years, but until recently it’s been a hobby not a vocation – what I’ve been able to do has been limited to free time outside of work. Recently I made the leap to “give it a go” as a full-time job.
Your support is essential in making this a financially viable and sustainable job transition, and to the extent I do this full-time the more content I can contribute to the community. Therefore here are my asks of you:
- Spread the word on social media and on the SWTOR forums, and tell your friends and guildees
- Stick around through the commercials on my stream. I want to create a positive viewing experience so I won’t be spamming them
- Keep giving me the constructive feedback. In just a week I’ve learned so much from you about streaming and SWTOR

I saw your live stream for the first time last night playing your sentinel, and you are doing an awesome job! I find it the live streaming and Q&A between warzones very useful, especially because I plan to roll a Sith Marauder at launch.

What do you think of the game so far?
Been playing a Jedi Counselor. Like the Survivability and mobility of the character. Might be a viable choice for PVP? Just made Level 10 couple of hours ago. Hoping to hit the warfronts before they close the weekend beta.!
Sage is one of the strongest classes in PVP at the moment. Good damage, excellent heals, excellent CC, and the targetable bubble. It’s a great choice.
Shadow also looks very strong, esp if you favor a Rogue-like class.
Actually I had a real difficult time choosing shadow or sage. I liked both options. I tried Alderaan a couple of times before I selected and decided to go Shadow. There are just too many long cooldowns to contend with when you’re in a fight. Was hoping shadow would give me an edge in pvp with that stealth/sneak mechanic and the the “back” attack. At least, until I realized that my light saber is totally visible to the opponents. Talk about a dead give away when you’re stealthing around. Grrrrr…. Let me know where y’all go when the game opens. Shadow is what I’m trying next when the General Testing servers are back online.
I am concerned about what you mentioned re: Shadow – it’s ability to either stay in sustained combat or get in/out of combat using stealth.

We’ve had a lot of requests from folks to join our SWTOR guild, esp after I started streaming. Most are strangers, some are people we have played with / against in other games.
I talked with our GM about ginvites and we agreed that the important thing is to grow gradually and take time to assimilate new members. Our current thinking is to ginvite people that we’ve known in other games, and start with that as our new member pool in SWTOR.
Would like to be able to guarantee you a ginvite, but at this point I’m not able to. Hope you understand.
We’re going to try to pick a “good” server regardless, so if you roll on the same server we can group up.

Really great videos. I love your analytical approach to the game. Quick question: I’ve seen you play a commando, sentinel, guardian, and gunslinger. Any chance you’ll stream other classes before live? I’m extremely interested in seeing a vanguard in action to compare against the commando and guardian.

I’ll be streaming Shadow this week. My character is level 7 atm.
That leaves Vanguard and Scoundrel as the only ACs I haven’t tried. I haven’t played Sage yet, but I played Sorc at NY Comic Con in October and it’s a mirror.
I am very curious about Vanguard so time permitting later this week I may try that out.

Hey where’s the donate button? Love your streams although I didn’t know about it until after beta ended but I’ve been watching your past pvp streams. Love your insight during the matches.
I applaud you for taking a chance and doing what you love for a living. You should look to set up a donate because from all the comments I see I am sure many people would like to. Unless you already have and I just don’t see the donate button.
